The Liftmaster MODEL 480LM RJO – 8500 Alternate Mounting/Extension Kit is exactly what you need to allow the opener to be lowered on the wall because of low ceilings or other obstructions. It allows the garage door operator to be lowered a total of 5.9 inches from the top of the garage door.  It is very easy to install and is designed for or use with residential Jackshaft openers including the LiftMaster 3900, 3800 and 8500 models. This kit comes with chain, a t-bracket, a 1-1/4-inch sprocket with collar and screws, a 1-inch sprocket with collar and screws and a cover assembly.
